Direct Number - Add a Local number to User | RingCentral

SummaryThis article provides information on how to add a Local direct number to a User. As an Administrator, you have the ability to configure the settings of another User in your RingCentral account.

NOTE: The images provided on the steps below were taken from the Super Admin's perspective. The tabs and other sections visible on your RingCentral Online account may vary depending on your Role and permissions granted to you by the Super Admin.


Direct Number - Add a Local number to User 

1. Go to Users > User List > Select User > Phones & Numbers > Numbers.
Click Add Direct Number.

2. Select Local (Domestic), and then select the State/Province and Area Code of the number that you want to add.

3. You will see the list of available numbers for the State/Province and Area Code that you have selected. If your selected Area Code is unavailable, alternate numbers are shown. Select a number and then click Next.

4. The Order Summary page will show the total amount of Additional RingCentral Services (including the Taxes, Charges and Fees) that will be charged to the credit card on file for this account.
Tick the box to acknowledge and authorize the amount to be charged to the credit card on file, and then click Next

5. The Order Confirmation screen will allow you to print a copy of your Order's receipt. Click Done to close the window.
