SummaryThe RingCentral Hot Desking feature allows your users to share a common phone. This article describes the steps to set up a Session Timeout for your Common Phone. For more information on the Hot Desking feature, go to Hot Desking -Overview.

1. Log in as an Administrator to your RingCentral Online Account.

2. On the Tools menu, click Hot Desk Session Timeout.

3.  Configure your Hot Desk Session Timeout . This will automatically log out a Hot Desk User according to the duration that you have selected. You can select between 1-24 hours or Never. (1, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16, 20, 24 hours, Never). Click Save .

NOTE: Set to Never if you don't want your Hot Desk session to timeout automatically. This means that your Hot Desk Session will only end if you log out.
