SummaryThis article provides information on how to access the web user interface of Cisco 8861 or 7841 phones. You need to obtain the IP address of your desk phone first in order to do this. To successfully obtain the IP address, ensure that the adapter is connected to a power source and an Ethernet cable is plugged in at the back of your Cisco phone and to the router. If your Cisco desk phone uses a Wi-Fi connection, ensure that the profile is already configured.


How to access the web interface of Cisco 8861 or 7841 phone?


Get the IP address of Cisco 8861 or 7841 phone.

1. Press the Settings button.

2. Select Status.

3. Select Network Status.

4. Select either IPv4 Status or IPv6 Status, depending on which is used.

5. Note the IP Address.

Enter the IP address of your desk phone in the address bar. 

The web user interface of your desk phone will now show. Depending on your Cisco desk phone, the web user interface may have different tabs.

NOTE: It is recommended to use browser such as Firefox or Microsoft Edge. Chrome will not load the phone's web interface.
