What to do when extension to extension calls are being blocked by the calling party's Block All Calls setting?
A User sets their extension to block all calls by going to Settings > Screening, Greeting & Hold Music > Blocked Calls > Block option: All calls.
When the User attempts to place a call to another extension on the same account, the caller hears the blocked call announcement that is set on their extension then a busy signal.
The User is able to place outbound calls to outside numbers without issue when block all calls is enabled, it is only internal calls that are being blocked.
The Block All Calls setting should only block inbound calls to the user and not outgoing calls to another extension within the account.
Disable the block all calls feature on the user in order to re-establish extension to extension dialing.
1. Log In to your RingCentral account.
2. Go to Settings > Screening, Greeting & Hold Music > Blocked Calls.
3. Under Block option, select Specific calls and faxes.
