RingCentral Phone for Mac - Microphone not working

SummaryRingCentral Phone users on macOS Mojave may encounter an issue where the Ring Central Phone App is not recognizing the microphone. This issue happens when the RingCentral Phone is not granted access to the microphone. Follow the steps below to configure microphone access on Mac.

Allow RingCentral Phone for Mac to access your microphone

1. Go to Apple menu > System Preferences.

2. Go to Security & Privacy > Privacy tab.

2. Click Microphone

3. Select the checkbox next to RingCentral Phone to allow access to the microphone. 

NOTE: If you turn off access for RingCentral Phone, you will be prompted to turn it on again the next time RingCentral Phone tries to use your microphone.
