This article will guide you in importing an XML file for the Multi-level IVR hierarchy.
NOTE: This article assumes that you already have an XML file ready for upload. The XML file must follow the correct format to avoid errors on the IVR configuration. You can download a sample XML based on your IVR setup by going to Tools > IVR > XML.
Go to Admin Portal >Tools > IVR
Click the </>XML
tab and then, click Browse
to locate and upload the XML file from your computer. NOTE:

Once you've located the XML file, click Import
RingCentral will be able to detect configuration issues as soon as you click Import
. You can manually fix the errors on the XML file and upload it again, or you can click Accept and Continue
to manually fix the errors through the RingCentral Online account. For this example, we clicked Accept and Continue
Click Validate Menus
to help you identify errors on the IVR configuration. NOTE:
When you click on Validate Menus
, RingCentral will detect errors in the configuration of your IVR Menu, and specify the settings that you need to change.
When all settings are valid, click OK
