RingCentral App - Enable Telephony in your Account

SummaryRingCentral App is a real-time productivity service that allows you to make your team more productive by offering multiple solutions in one place. With RingCentral App Telephony, Users in your RingCentral Office account can use glip.com, RingCentral App Web / Desktop and Mobile for calls, voicemails and text messages. When enabled for the account, all Users in the account will be able to use the telephony functionality.


NOTE: Only RingCentral App Administrators can enable the feature on glip.com or on RingCentral App Web / Desktop.


RingCentral App - Enable Telephony  

1. Click your Profile icon and select Administration.

2. On the Administration page, scroll down to the Company Settings. Toggle the button on Enable telephony service to enable.

You will be redirected to the Confirm Address window to add the physical address for E911 Emergency Calling to start using this feature. Users will also be notified to add their physical address for E911 Emergency Calling to start using this feature.

3. Click the Pencil glip pencil icon icon or Edit.

4. Enter the required information, and then click Confirm when done.

When the feature is enabled, Users can go to Preferences to customize Calling settings. See RingCentral App - Configure User Preferences.
