Setting Up Hardware in your Conference Room | Mac Mini | RingCentral Rooms
The steps below will guide you on how to set up your hardware for RingCentral Rooms to work in your conference rooms. See also

Before setting up, you need to do following:
NOTE: RingCentral Rooms works with off-the-shelf hardware. Please make sure all hardware is fully connected and working before installing the RingCentral Rooms app. RingCentral does NOT cover support on any hardware that is used for RingCentral Rooms configuration. Please contact the manufacturers for direct hardware support. See System Requirements for RingCentral Rooms for hardware recommendations and system specifications.
Step 1:
Connect your
HDTV monitor(s) to your
Mac mini's HDMI and
Thunderbolt ports (if dual screen).
NOTE: In the example below, a Mac mini is used.

Step 2:
Connect your Mac Mini or Windows computer to the network port using an Ethernet cable (RJ45 cable).
NOTE: In the example below, a Mac mini is used.

Step 3:
Connect your
Logitech PTZ PRO to the USB port.
NOTE: In the example below, a Mac mini is used.

Step 4:
Connect your Revolabs UC500 to the USB port.
NOTE: In the example below, a Mac mini is used.

Step 5:
Turn ON your Mac Mini.
Step 6:
Pair your Bluetooth mouse and keyboard to your Mac Mini.

Step 7:
Turn ON your iPad.
Step 8:
Verify your network connectivity.
Once the setup is complete, you can hide your
Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. The diagram below is the ideal setup. See

Once your hardware is set up, you are now ready to configure the RingCentral Rooms software.

NOTE: Polycom phones are not meant to be the primary speakers for RingCentral Rooms. However, The Polycom Trio 8800 can act as a speaker for the Mac Mini/computer in the meeting, but needs to be connected via USB cable to do this. It can also be setup as a phone in the RC room (Setting Up an IP Phone for RingCentral Rooms). However, it cannot do both at the same time.
