If the RingCentral's app version shows 4.831 or 5.0, you can proceed to
Install the new version of the RingCentral for Salesforce app.
If the RingCentral's app version shows 5.7,
Migrate Users to the new version of RingCentral for Salesforce.
To install the new version of the RingCentral for Salesforce app, follow the steps below:

Click Get It Now.
Step 3:
Click Log in to the AppExchange.
Step 4:

Click Install in production.
Step 6:
Right click and open the customization guide in a new tab on your browser.
Review the customization guide to familiarize yourself with the installation and configuration steps for this application.
Step 7:
Click I have read and agree to the terms and conditions, then click Confirm and Install.
Step 8:
Select Install for All Users, then click Install.
NOTE: Selecting this option ensures configuring the call center will go smoothly.
Step 9:
Click Done.
To migrate Users to the new version of RingCentral for Saleforce, follow the steps below:
Step 1:
Click the gear icon
, and then go to Setup > Platform Tools > Apps > Installed Packages on the left menu. You will now see 2 RingCentral for Salesforce packages installed.
Step 2:
Under Setup, use Quick find to search for “Call Centers”, and then click on Call Centers on the left menu.
Step 3:
Click on Continue.
Step 4:
You will see both versions of RingCentral for Salesforce App. The Created Date will indicate the version.
Step 5:
Click on the Cloud Phone App link on the older version.
Step 6:
Click on Manage Call Center Users.
Step 7:
To remove the users, you can click the Remove link associated to each user; or tick the Select All box, then click the Remove Users button.
Step 8:
On the left menu, click on Call Centers.
Step 9:
Click on Continue.
Step 10:
Click on Cloud Phone App associated to the latest package based on the latest created date.
Step 11:
Click on Manage Call Center Users.
Step 12:
Click on Add More Users.
Step 13:
Set the search criteria, and then click Find to find users who should be enabled as call center agents. Users already enabled as call center agents are excluded from the search results.
Step 14:
Select the users, then click Add to Call Center.
This completes the migration of users to the latest RingCentral for Salesforce package. The next step is to remove the older version of the RingCentral for Salesforce package. Scroll down to proceed.
Step 1:
Click the gear icon
, and then go to Setup > Platform Tools > Apps > Installed Packages on the left menu. You will see 2 RingCentral for Salesforce packages installed.
Step 2:
Click the Uninstall link on the older version of the app.
Step 3:
Read the instructions on provided on the Salesforce page, scroll down, and then select the appropriate option.
Tick the box to confirm that you want to uninstall the package, and then click the Uninstall button.
