How to configure messaging notifications in the Basic Settings view
Check the notifications the user should receive for the features (Received Faxes, Missed Calls, Fax Transmission Results, Received Text Messages).
If you have set email notifications for the User, enter the email address/es below Send Notifications to, separated by commas or semicolons.
If you have set SMS notifications for the User, choose the mobile number's carrier from the Select Carrier drop-down list.
Enter the phone number where the text notifications will be sent, then click Add.
To add more numbers, repeat Steps 3 to 4.
To remove a number, click Delete below Operation.
If your carrier is not listed, contact the carrier to find out the email address where you can receive text messages.
Enter it into the Phone Number field, for example — yournumber@yourcarrier.com.
Click Save.
How to configure messaging notifications in the Advanced Settings view
The Advanced Settings view gives you the option to send notifications for each feature to a different email address and/or phone number.
Check the notifications the User should receive for the features (Received Faxes, Missed Calls, Fax Transmission Results, Received Text Messages).
Click Customize Notifications on each row you have selected.
If you have set email notifications for the User, select Include attachment with email and/or Mark message as read once emailed below Additional Settings.
Enter the email address/es below Send Notifications to, separated by commas or semicolons. You can add more email addresses later on.
If you have set SMS notifications for the User, choose the mobile number's carrier from the Select Carrier drop-down list.
Enter the phone number where the text notifications will be sent, then click Add. You can add more phone numbers later on.
To remove a number, click Delete below Operation.
If your carrier is not listed, contact the carrier to find out the email address where you can receive text messages.
Enter it into the Phone Number field, for example — yournumber@yourcarrier.com.
Click Done.
Customize the notifications for the other feature/s. Follow Steps 3 to 10.
If you prefer to enter different email address/es and/or phone number/s for the other feature/s, uncheck the option/s as shown:
Use the same email as for voicemail - available if you have set an email notification.
Use the same text address as for voicemail - available if you have set an SMS notification.
Use the same email and text address as for voicemail - available if you have set both email and SMS notifications.
