This article provides basic troubleshooting steps for common issues on your IP Phone and steps to resolve issues specific to your phone model.
These basic steps can help fix the most common phone issues, including phone registration, audio and call quality, and phones not showing the correct date and time.
Ensure that all RingCentral Unified Communication endpoints are correctly configured. Check the Network Requirements and Recommendations article for information on network requirements and recommendations.
Check the Internet connection. Make sure all devices are connected to the internet. If none of your devices can connect to the internet, contact your ISP.
Check the phone's power and physical connection.

No display or lights
Plug the power adapter (if being used) into a different outlet.
The phone plugged into Power Over Ethernet (PoE) is offline
Move the cable to a different jack.
The phone has no power when plugged into a power outlet
- Other devices have power
Replace the phone
The phone has no power when plugged into a power outlet - Other devices have no power
Check for an electrical problem.
Check for possible problems with PoE from the switch or from the router
You will need a PoE-compatible and compliant switch or router to deliver 15.4 watts per device (maximum power) on all ports.
